ALMA, January 27 th, 2021 – The Alco-TMI Group Inc is proud to announce that it has become a shareholder of Brais Malouin et Associates Inc, an engineering firm located in Montreal and specializing in the fields of energy, combustion and energy efficiency serving the Canadian and international industrial markets.
This transaction allows Alco-TMI to strengthen its position in the market by adding integrated engineering services to its service offering intended primarily for large industrial companies.

BMA executes many major projects across a variety of sectors with high energy demands, including power generation plants, the oil and gas industry, mining and metals, petrochemicals and pulp and paper. « The business relationship between BMA and Alco-TMI has existed for more than 20 years and the synergies developed over the years explain the partnership that we are announcing today », affirms Mr. Louis-Michel Malouin, President of the industrial consulting engineering firm.
Located in Ville St-Laurent, BMA offers a wide range of engineering services and employs 15 people. The firm is active in Canada and internationally.
For 31 years, the Alco-TMI Group has been a general contractor specializing in boilermaking, piping and industrial mechanics. The company provides engineering, manufacturing and construction services to a large industrial customer base. Located in Alma, Quebec, the company employs up to 400 people depending on the level of activity and the projects to be carried out.
